Itinerary

Frederick Douglas National Historic Site is a great place to start your group tour of Washington, D.C. Take a moment to remember and honor at theAfrican American Civil War Memorial. Your group can visit Howard University and learn about the important role it played in our history. While strolling through Lincoln Park, your group will be able to view the Mary McLeod Bethune Memorial. Also, visit Mary McLeod Bethune House to learn more about Mary's influential role. 

Take your group to have a White House Photo Opportunity! It will help to create a memory of the educational trip! Tour Capitol Hill. A visit to theNational Archives will allow your group to see important national documents, including the Declaration of Independence! 

Visit Arlington National Cemetery to remember those that have served our country. Your group may also want to visit the Iwo Jima Memorial. Spend some time exploring the Museum of African Art, one of the Smithsonian Museums on the National Mall. Take some time to visit a few memorials while you are in Washington, D.C., including Lincoln Memorial,Vietnam Veterans MemorialKorean War Veterans Memorial, andFDR Memorial.
