Itinerary

Day 1: Stuffed with mind blowing exhibits, the NASA Ames Exploration Center leaves student field trip groups with their eyes glued to the sky! Approaching the Visitor Center which is shaped like a giant meringue, visitors will be introduced to astronautics prior to being shuttled to the actual campus. Here is where your team will find aircraft simulators, a shuttle command center, mars rover simulation, even the incredible supercomputer server center where discussions like where to find the next habitable planet may be are held. The highest points in the city may even be high enough to escape the fog in San Fran! Ascend Twin Peaks hills for a cityscape view including both bridges you won’t find anywhere else in town. Fisherman’s Wharf is a waterfront jewel packed with things to do, see and eat. Street performers, cable car lines, live music, seafood, sea lions, an aquarium, a festival marketplace, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, a Maritime park, cruise departures and even more are dotted throughout this divine dock! Should you so choose, you won’t even have to leave Fisherman’s Wharf to catch a ride over to the famous island prison: Alcatraz. Just about a mile and a half away from the shore is this ever perplexing center of mystery, mayhem and maximum security.
