Day 1: Spend part of the day learning about the Amish Experience at Bird-in-Hand, PA. Here you will get to witness some of the Amish lifestyle and farmland. How are our lives different? When you head back to Philadelphia, spend some free time exploring the city and shopping.
Day 2: On your second day in Philadelphia, you should definitely take the time to visit the Liberty Bell! I would recommend a visit to the Eastern State Penitentiary. This is our first penitentiary. It wasn't created as a punishment the way we think about prisons now. It was created as a way to provide a solitary wait for you time in court. Another great attraction to visit in Philadelphia is the Franklin Institute. They offer several exhibits that will teach your students about various topics, including the Titanic.
