Chicago Field Trips

Student groups looking to tour not far from home yet unwilling to sacrifice an amazing experience are wise to choose Chicago! Just a short distance across the country your educational field trip begins with the scent of deep dish pizza, high rise buildings and the breeze off of Lake Michigan. With just around 200 art galleries, 7,300 restaurants, 15 miles of beaches, 552 parks and over 200 theaters, Chicago is the hub of cultural diversity! As home of the world’s first skyscraper, The Windy City also offers your students Skydeck Chicago from which four states can be seen! 103 floors above the sidewalks you may step into what is virtually a glass box, making for some incredible pictures! While your heads are in the clouds, explore the universe at Adler Planetarium where with one swipe of a touch screen your team can travel one billion lightyears! Down the road at Field Museum lies the largest t-rex fossil ever discovered, aptly named Sue. Magnificent Mile spans over 13 blocks saturated with over 795 establishments! Shedd Aquarium holds all the mysteries and beauty of the seven seas while Navy Pier boasts a 15 story tall ferris wheel! Before your party heads for familiar shores make sure you’ve paid a visit to the Lincoln Park Zoo and Millenium Park. The 35 acre zoo is free admission 365 days a year for lions, gorillas, meerkats and more while Millenium Park is home to the famous Bean sculpture! Reminiscent of a town square, Millenium Park is a collection of modern architecture and gardens where a variety of activities are held that range from blues festivals to swimming! Chicago is a fantastic course to set your GPS for!
