Williamsburg Educational Tours
Williamsburg is a place that has a variety of educational attractions. Student groups
interested in our nation’s history must see “Virginia’s Historic Triangle”, Williamsburg,
Jamestown, and Yorktown. Groups will be able to experience things like the Jamestown
Settlement, which has gallery exhibits that describe world events in the 17th century as
well as a re-created Powhatan Indian Village and full-size replicas of the three ships-
Susan Constant, Discovery, and Godspeed. Colonial Williamsburg is not only a one
time centerpiece for Britain’s largest colony in the New World but also the home to
shops, taverns, government buildings, homes and streets in which George Washington,
Thomas Jefferson, and Patrick Henry debated the freedoms we have today. Finally, there
is Yorktown Battlefield and victory center, where American independence was won.
Together, these create the historic triangle, a unique and exciting choice for all kinds of
educational tours.
