Authentic costumed actors and lively re-enactments commence in the background as you discover horse drawn carriages, taverns, a blacksmith shop, public armory, the Capitol building, Governor’s Palace, the Peyton Randolph House, Great Hopes Plantation where African American slaves, carpenters and farmers lived, Palace Kitchen, colonial horticulture, military equipment, printing press office, rare breeds program and so much more, even a wig maker in Colonial Williamsburg! A 9,000 square foot museum jam-packed with oddities is Ripley’s Believe It or Not! The candy shop alone is worth visiting as it boasts over 150 different flavors of candy along with irresistible machines that tell your fortune. See the 4D IMAX show complete with sensory enhancement, race the clock through a maze of lasers and get hands on in the touch arcade! Inside the Odditorium are the telltale shrunken heads, a real piece of the Berlin Wall, 2 headed creatures, a man who walked on his hands due to lack of feet, a genuine vampire slaying kit and many more wild exhibits sure to mesmerize any class!
