For a world class collection just blocks away from the City Hall your travel group will find the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. This one is the oldest of our country’s art museums and so it deserves a visit. Captivating is the grand stairway climbing on either side of the building, the Gothic architecture, the ethereal ceiling painted in a starscape and of course, the art displays themselves.
