Philadelphia Educational Trips

Educational tours to Philadelphia are growing in popularity every year. Philly offers some of the best historical sites like Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell Pavilion, just for starters. The "City of Brotherly Love" is full of fantastic educational opportunities and offers a great way to touch history.

Speaking of touch, the Please Touch Museum is a winner for groups that learn best by doing it themselves! For a world class collection just blocks away from the City Hall your travel group will find the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. This one is the oldest of our country’s art museums and so it deserves a visit. Captivating is the grand stairway climbing on either side of the building, the Gothic architecture, the ethereal ceiling painted in a starscape and of course, the art displays themselves.

Museums clearly abound in Philadelphia, and some of the less recognized specialty museums are the Chemical Heritage Foundation, The Insectarium, Mutter Museum, The Museum of Mourning Art and the ever curious Mummers Museum.
