Atlanta Educational Tours

From Civil Rights history to aquariums and theme park adventures, Atlanta is certainly a destination for any kind of group! Student groups can spend time visiting educational and fun sites such as CNN Headquarters and the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site, or relax and knock back a refreshing beverage at the World of Coca-Cola! Sweet Auburn District offers guided walking tours through Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s neighborhood, black fraternal lodges, churches and more of his old stomping grounds. The downtown Georgia Aquarium is a fascinating stop on any itinerary as it rings in at weighing more than 10 million gallons in water! With so much room, imagine the creatures ready to snorkel with you! The Fernbank Museum of Natural History is a must for student groups looking for prehistoric excitement! From Mesozoic giants to 40,000 limestone tiles with fossils embedded that make up the floor of Fernbank, there’s no escaping the past! Don’t miss their exquisite IMAX Theatre with a screen five stories tall! Bodies the Exhibition may make your toes curl as you traipse through a room full of more than 200 human bodies dissected and displayed for an eye opening look into the skeletal system; the muscular, nervous, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, fetal and circulatory systems are here as well. For a Broadway musical your student group belongs at the Fox Theatre which has been meticulously restored to its 1920s appearance! The brilliantly presented ambience is aided by hot and buttery popcorn filling the air with that familiar scent of a good show. At Atlanta Botanical Garden you will see enormous living sculptures, summer concerts, fantastic artwork, a variety of useful classes and even outdoor dining.
