Itinerary

Day 1: Start your visit with a stop at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Center where your group can see his birth home and Baptist Church, the eternal flame which represents his dream for peace, and pay your respects to Dr. and Mrs. King after exploring Freedom Hall. Inside the Archives rests the papers belonging to Dr. King as well as written interviews with his associates and companions. The Atlanta History Center is home to the Atlanta History Museum, Smith Family Farm, several gardens, and more. Historic houses and impressive exhibits frost the cake with educational baubles. End your day with some time spent shopping at upscale Lenox Square Mall for Apple gear, fur coats and jewelry or Mediterranean grub! With nearly 250 stores, your group can easily spend an evening or two here!

Day 2: Take your educational group to the Georgia Aquarium to learn about a vast array of aquatic life! 500 species invite you to dolphin shows, swimming with whale sharks, even sleepovers in this amazing conservation and research establishment! The Aquarium houses more than 120,000 creatures ranging from a Leopard Whipray to Giant Caribbean Hermit Crabs, and there are even classes to ensure that your student travel group selects only the best for seafood consumption when you get home! The Fernbank Science Center is packed with hands on opportunities where your students can learn about meteorology and aerospace, visit a planetarium and also check out creepy crawlies like snakes and spiders! The Solar Experiment demonstrates the process of solar array electricity, an inspiring idea!

Day 3: Spend a fun filled day at Six Flags Over Georgia. There is a ride for everybody, from the thrill seekers to the joy riders! With over 100 acres of everything from plummeting roller coasters and water rides to antique photo booths and Ben & Jerry's ice cream, this Six Flags branch is a goliath in the entertainment industry! One glance at the park map delivers a colorful explosion of options for groups large and small. Close to the front gate is the Promenade section with shopping and dining to get your group warmed up before making your plan of attack to visit the sections of Georgia, USA, Gotham City, British, Peachtree Square, Lickskillet, French, Cotton States Exposition and the Spanish (or Bugs Bunny) World!
